John ButterfieldJohn Butterfield has been making historical game information more accessible for over 20 years. The audience impacted by his information design exceeds two million people.

John began his audience-focused design methodology in the field of game design, publishing over 30 board games, and video and computer games. His expertise as author, artist, logic architect, game theorist and user analyst has kept him at the forefront of game design throughout his career.

For fifteen years, John was the Design Director for Edwin Schlossberg Inc., an innovator in the design of museums, exhibitions, interactive systems and site-base entertainment. There, he directed a multi-disciplinary design staff in the conceptualization and development of numerous award-winning interactive projects. John also directed design for Sparks Exhibits and Environments, a world-leader in the design and manufacture of custom trade show exhibits.

More recently, John served as Vice President of Product Design for GivingCapital, a provider of philanthropic solutions to financial service companies and nonprofit organisations. John is a graduate of Parsons School of Design.
